This is my latest work on my "Bee" paintings.

This painting, along with the next two paintings are my current work. I took a photo of a bee in our butterfly bush in the front yard. I have begun reading "The Tao of Watercolor" by Jeanne Carbonetti. The style of painting begins with a background "glaze" and then a focus on a part I want to feature; in this case, the bee.

This painting is the second of the same picture, and was begun on the same morning as the first version. You can see the bee featured, as well as some of the flowers. I haven't spent too much time on this painting yet.

And, this is my third version of the same painting. I have painted the first layer or glaze of the painting, and have highlighted the bottom right corner. If you look closely, you can see the drawing of the bee.
